This colorful, clear acrylic puzzle is part of the My Sight program, designed to help K–12 students of all abilities learn eye anatomy, how vision works, and common eye conditions. Intended to be used with a light box such as APH’s LED Mini-Lite Box, this puzzle teaches people how to describe their visual abilities and confidently communicate their needs at school, home, and beyond.
Why My Sight?
Students with BVI often face barriers not just in access to information, but in understanding why their vision is different and how to effectively communicate their experience. My Sight bridges that gap by combining science and self-awareness into one dynamic curriculum. Students don’t just learn what their eye condition is—they learn how to talk about it with confidence and clarity to peers, educators, family members, medical professionals, and future employers.
This isn’t just a lesson about the parts of the eye—it’s a lesson in identity, empowerment, and advocacy.
